Dear myself in 2070
This letter is written in 2021 and interestingly at the time you read, maybe it has existed for 49 years. I am thinking about you at 70. I wonder a lot of things about you and I also really want to remind you of your thoughts at 20. That is the reason for this letter.
I’m 20 now, a third-year student. Having online study at home, I’m writing this letter in the crisis time when people around the world are struggling to recover from the damages that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused. And I am really curious to know what will happen in the next few years after this pandemic. But at the present, I am so hopeful that we will have a better world. It can be denied that we lost many things, whereas I think we got many valuable things as well. We are aware of the importance of health, time, family and humanity. Do you think so?
How about my future life? Will I have got my dream job or will I be satisfied with my career. I wonder who I will become, where I will live and what I will have archived in your whole life. And I also want to see how I will look at 70, will I be senile or decrepit? And how will the future world and people be, better or worse? I wish that you could reply to this letter at this time to explain my questions.
Hope you do well and have a brilliant mind to remember your thoughts and yourself at 20 who wrote this letter. And reply to this letter if you can.
Your sincerely, Phan Duy Phuc
